Exteriors

Working on my first feature film with Theo Green, I co-composed the score for Exteriors which has been nominated for Best Debut Feature Film award at Raindance 2011. Exteriors is a ‘poetic, realistic, surrealistic and somewhat experimental drama’ directed by the talented Patrik Syverson about two struggling foreign actresses in LA on the day of a very important audition. Hudson’s Monarch documentary – BBC Newcomer Award winner 2010

Working with film maker and nature enthusiast Mat Thompson, I wrote the score for his documentary Hudson’s Monarch about the stag beetle. Meticulously filmed and edited over more than three years, Hudson’s Monarch is a beautiful production exploring the six-year life cycle of the stag beetle and how this is now under threat. Submitted to the Wildscreen Festival 2010, we’ve just been confirmed as the winner of the BBC Newcomer Award! Read more »

Working for Grey London, I wrote the music for this Unicef campaign on using tap water more instead of expensive bottled water to help the save lives of those dying from unsafe water in third world countries. Read more »

WORKU

Working with director Keita Funamto, I wrote the music for the WORKU trailer using Ry Cooder’s Paris Texas soundtrack as a reference. WORKU is a six-year long project by directors Keita Funamoto and Masahide Kobayashi from the stop-motion animation studio “The Village of Marchen” based in Tokyo. Note: large filesize (50mb). White Wood documentary

Recently, I wrote the music for a nature documentary by Lou Astbury that won the BBC Newcomer award (part of the Wildscreen Festival). This 12 minute film is a journey through the beautiful woods of Dartmoor in Devon (UK) told by a local who explains how legends, such as that of unicorns and fairies, are not myths at all, but rather anecdotes describing the beauty of nature around us.
